The very popular exhibition of Bill Zygmant's iconic photography of 60s/70s/80s has had over 1500 visitors and by signing the visitors book you were entered in to the prize draw for a framed 15”x12” photo of Yoko Ono cuddling John Lennon at a rehearsal of Top of the Pops.

Your chance to see Bill Zygmant's iconic photography of 60s/70s/80s which includes photographs that have never yet been seen before in public of George Harrison and John Lennon.
Also you could win, a framed 15”x12” photo of Yoko Ono cuddling John Lennon at a rehearsal of Top of the Pops, just by signing the visitors book.
Other iconic photography to be seen are the first pictures of John Lennon and Yoko Ono together in public, George Harrison, Jimi Hendrix, Bee Gees, and many more icons of the stage, screen and TV.
Bill, was a Fleet Steet photographer in the sixties specialising in pop, TV and films. Bill's photographs have already been shown in an exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery London, called Beatles to Bowie. He has also a banqueting suite named in his honour at the world famous Beatles Hotel - The Hard Day's Night in Liverpool - called the "Zygmant Suite".
Bill says "these images capture the essence of the period”. I was fortunate to have been around at the time and to have met these iconic figures"
When Robbie Williams was in concert in Dubai, his dressing room had Bill's pictures on his walls and fell in love with them.

Bill Zygmant the Photographer
Bill's passion for Photography started at a early age seeing press photographers on newsreels photographing film stars. Bill got a job as paper boy to enable him to purchase his first camera.
Bill spent most of his leisure hours looking for good photo opportunities, local Rock & Roll groups and other interesting people.
Bill Zygmant began his career at the London Star. He then went on to work at the News Chronicle in Fleet Street - first on the picture desk and then in the darkroom.
In 1962 he joined a Fleet Street picture agency. He soon make lots of contacts, then in 1964 went freelance photographing music and show business stars including the Bee Gees, Jimi Hendrix, Marc Bolan, Mary Hopkins and the Beatles. Zygmant took the first pictures of John Lennon and Yoko Ono seen together in public at the opening of John Crittle’s Apple Tailoring Boutique, before the official announcement of their relationship.
Zygmant's work was regularly published in the Musical Express, Billboard, Picture Post and British Newspapers and magazines. He has since worked as picture editor and lecturer on film and television production.
Earlier this year Bill held a exhibition at floor One Art Gallery Rugby which attracted the highest attendance in Ten Years. He was also invited to hang some of his John and Yoko pictures at Coventry Cathedral at the Peace Exhibition which was a great international success.
